Best Recipes Ideas: Hazelnut Coffee Cake

Dear Alice,

Today I would like to present you a delicious recipe, and that is the “Hazelnut Coffee Cake”. As the name already suggests it this is a desert, which is in fact easy and fast to prepare, and incredible delicious! So here are the essential information you will need when you decide to prepare this cake.

  1. What exactly is the “Hazelnut Coffee Cake”?
    • This is a sponge based cake, having as its main ingredients the eggs and flour of course, but also its secret ingredients: hazelnut and coffee. When I say coffee I mean filtered coffee. Do not be afraid! Even if you are not a big fan of coffee, this cake is still very delicious: the coffee taste is not intensive at all, the coffee just makes the cake very juicy. But enough about describing its taste: you should just try it yourself 🙂 ! In fact this is an inherited recipe, it is not my product, but I love it, it is really tasty!
  2. When to prepare it?
    • Anytime you want to prepare a fast and delicious desert: for a birthday or an anniversary, for breakfast, for the weekend, for a delicious dinner with family or with friends. The cake is easy to transport, and if kept in the fridge it lasts up to 5 days. I like to prepare this cake mostly on Sundays in the afternoon. In this way, it will represent a delicious and powerful breakfast for the week to come. In fact, in this way I can say that on Sundays afternoon I am quite motivated for the “bloody” Mondays to come 😀 .
  3. What do you need for it?
    • 300 grams Flour
    • 300 grams Sugar (you can also try with 250 grams, it is still sweet enough and it keeps the right consistency)
    • 4 Eggs
