have you already visited the Erzberg Mine next to Leoben in Austria? Or any other mine in general? If not, I must tell you that this is a wonderful way to spend a sunny autumn day.
Erzberg Mine is an iron mine located in Styria, about 50-60 km away from Graz. The surroundings are wonderful and the scenery is peaceful and more than enjoyable on a sunny day. The Mine offers you different activities such as:
- taking a tour in the underground mine to see the working environment of the miners in the old days, before the exponential advancement of the contemporary technologies reached these places. The tour offers you literally a trip back in time, a trip very lively revived! This is a great opportunity to understand the mysteries of mining and to appreciate the advancements of technology in our society.
- Another attraction is the trip with the Hauly mobile, which is an extremely large truck, which cruises back and forth on the mining surfaces of Erzberg. It is a unique and unforgettable experience you should definitely try!
