Concert Review: Coldplay “Head Full of Dreams” Live Tour Experience

Dear Alice,

Last weekend I attended Coldplay’s “Head Full of Dreams” Live Concert in Vienna, in the Ernst Happel Stadion. Unforgettable experience, would not think twice about reliving it! So if you ever get the chance to attend a Coldplay concert, do not hesitate. You will not regret it. Here is my story concerning this experience.

I will not get into the details of getting the tickets to the concert now (this can definitely be a challenge, but it can happen for other concerts as well, so keep your hopes high), but I will just advise you to set as many tickets alarms as possible for your favorites bands and/or singers on the official leading show ticket sellers in your country. This is what I decided to do with Coldplay a couple of years ago: I set a ticket alarm for Coldplay’s tickets in Austria and in the beginning of this year I got an alarm concerning the pre-sales of the tickets to the concert and that same day I booked the tickets. A very wise decision, since the tickets to the concert in the acceptable price groups sold out in a couple of hours…Yes, the alarm tickets definitely paid off!

So here are the highlights concerning the Coldplay’s amazing concert, and why you should definitely book tickets to any of their concerts in my opinion:

  • Outstanding Life Performance. Yes everything concerning the life performance was outstanding: the music, the sound, the acoustic, the ambiance, the audience. Coldplay can definitely put out a great life show, there is no doubt in that, the audience will fast become an active participant to the show, singing together and praising the band till the end of the performance.
  • Explosive Visual Show Accompanying the Life Performance. The visual show is definitely a piece of art! This contributes even more to the magnificent show! The visual show is created with very simple effects (such as for instance: each spectator gets a recyclable bracelet that lightens up automatically during the show), that still adds a great deal of power and of intensity to the show!
  • Altruistic Love and Compassion Messages Dominating The Show. Starting with the songs, and the lyrics of the songs; continuing with the short but intense speeches during the show made by Chris Martin; and ending with the “love” pin you get when you leave the show, everything around you yells “be compassionate, share the love, and be grateful for the present moment “. Pretty cool I would say. Well done Coldplay, and well done the city of Vienna, that organized a magnificent show, and kept us all, almost 55.000 fans (pretty impressive), safe πŸ™‚ in a grandiose stadium humming and singing our favorite Coldplay’s songs on a wonderful summer evening.

Scanning the areas before the show!

Looking forward to the show!

As said, great visual effects show as well!

  • Love this video capture:

There is nothing else left to say, expect that I can hardly wait for Coldplay’s next tour πŸ˜‰ in Austria (or in the surroundings).
Sincerely yours,
Madalina
