Best Breakfast Recipes: Strawberry Pancakes with Soft Curd Cheese

Today I will present you with another delicious breakfast recipe and that is “strawberries pancakes with soft curd cheese”. This is the perfect recipe to have for either a nutritious breakfast or for a fast early dinner.

Ingredients (4 Pancakes):

  • For the Dough:
    • 100 grams Flour
    • 1 Egg
    • 1 Pinch of Salt
    • 200 ml Milk
  • For the Soft Curd Cheese Cream Filling:
    • 250 grams Soft Curd Cheese (or what in Austria we call Topfen or Quark in Germany)
    • 1 Spoon Agave Syrup (or alternatively Maple Syrup or Honey)
    • 2 Spoons Rum (or alternatively for the non-alcoholic version Orange Juice)
    • 8 grams Vanilla
    • 200-250 grams Strawberries

Preparation:

  1. For the dough: Combine the flour, the egg and the pinch of salt with the milk and make a soft pancakes dough batter. Add some olive oil in a heated frying pan and cook 4 pancakes from the soft dough batter.
  2. For the cheese cream filling: Mix together the cheese, the agave syrup, the vanilla and the orange juice. Wash and cut the strawberries in small pieces and add them to the cheese cream. Fill the pancakes with the strawberries-cheese-cream-filling.
  3. Serve the pancakes with strawberries and fresh kiwis for instance.
Here are the strawberries-cream-cheese pancakes served with powder sugar and strawberries.
Alternatively, you can serve the strawberries-cream-cheese pancakes with strawberries only. Both variants are delicious!
